  • Are you ready to make the world stop and stare?
    This is where the magic begins, whether you want to dance, have always dreamt of being in a flash mob, or just experience the joy of giving back.

    • How to Join
      Fill out our registration form, and you’re in! No auditions, no fees, no experience needed. The form opens in early August and closes when we’re full or at the cutoff date, whichever comes first.

    • What’s Included
      Everything! Free rehearsals, free outfits, free performances, and the chance to be part of something unforgettable.

    • Who Can Join?
      Ages 10+, all backgrounds welcome. Whether you’ve been dancing your entire life, or this is your first time, there’s a place for you! We may undergo background checks for our adult members.

    • Community Service Hours
      Earn official hours for rehearsals and performances. We’ll help you track them so you can submit them to your school or educational program.

    • Commitment
      Whether you want to dance in one song, just some, or all of them ,you get to choose. We’ll work with you to find your perfect fit.

  • Before we surprise the public, we prep together!
    This section covers everything that happens before we head out, from rehearsals to outfits and how it all works.

    • Rehearsals
    We mostly meet on weekends and prep together at our Season Studio , our official HQ for the season, located in North Tracy, just off the 205. Can’t make one? That’s okay, we’re flexible. Just keep us in the loop!
    Rehearsals can be joined in person (highly recommended, it’s way easier and more fun) or virtually if needed.
    Each flash mob has its own Preparation Meeting before performance day. To join a flash mob, you must attend one of these in-person or virtual meetings. That’s where we cover everything about the location, how we adapt our performances to the space, and answer any questions you may have.

    • Pick-Your-Songs (formerly “Song Participation Tiers”)
    You choose how many songs from our setlist you want to perform, just one, a few, or all of them!
    Each song has two rehearsals, and you're only expected to come to rehearsals for the songs you pick. Easy!

    • Costumes & Outfits
    Our performance outfits are “everyday” clothes, think fake work uniforms (like a Foot Locker jersey or Panda Express shirt) or casual shopper outfits.
    Sometimes, a performance location will even provide custom clothing for us to wear!

    What if I’m shy? You’re not alone. This is a super welcoming group and a judgment-free zone.
